That is why the ordering can look surprising. Pharmaceutical Chemistry & Drug Action carries 30.6% of the paper while Investigational Skills — the part closest to the job itself — carries 0.2%. Study time should follow the marks, not the job description.

Drug Inspector questions are drafted from Government of India primary texts — the Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 and Rules 1945, MDR 2017, NDCT Rules 2019, Cosmetics Rules 2020, DPCO 2013, the D&M Remedies Act 1954 and the Pharmacy Act 1948. GPAT questions are drafted from the prescribed B.Pharm syllabus.

Previous papers are used to calibrate difficulty and style. Their questions inform what the exam actually asks; their commentary and answer keys are not reproduced.

Drafting is AI-assisted, and every question is independently fact-checked by a second model before it can be served. That is not the same as expert review, so the site does not pretend otherwise — each question carries its own status beside its explanation.

A wrong published question costs more than ten missing ones, so the aim is to be correctable fast rather than to claim perfection. Every question has a one-tap report control next to its explanation. Scores use each exam's own rule, not a generic percentage. Drug Inspector applies +1 and −1/3; GPAT applies +4 and −1. These produce opposite guessing strategies, which is why each exam states its own — see the negative marking guide.
